Product Description
Carbon fiber satin weave fabric is a high-grade composite textile with 4/5/8 harness satin structures. Thanks to less yarn interlacing, it boasts a silky smooth surface, bright luster and great drapability, fitting complex curved molds perfectly without creases.
Mainly made of 1K, 3K and 6K carbon filaments, this material retains carbon fiber’s merits of light weight, high tensile strength and corrosion resistance. After resin infusion and curing, it forms exquisite high-gloss surfaces. Widely adopted for automotive decoration, yacht parts, aerospace shells and premium sports equipment.
Different weights of carbon fiber satin weave fabric can be selected in accordance with diverse product requirements.
Carbon fiber Satin Weave Fabric has the following high performances:
Carbon fiber satin fabric features fewer weave intersections and long floating fibers, bringing an exceptionally smooth, glossy surface far better than plain and twill cloth. It has excellent draping performance, closely attaching to complex curved molds without wrinkles during laying-up.
With low fiber crimp, it fully preserves high tensile strength and lightweight merits of carbon fiber. After resin molding, it achieves a flawless high-grade appearance. Available in multiple grammages, it suits aesthetic-focused parts for automobiles, vessels, aerospace and high-end sporting goods perfectly.
